Cake Decorating :)

 Our school launched this so called CULINARY FESTIVAL 4 years ago, and every July which is also the Nutrition Month, we always have this event with different contest aligned with the nutrition month. It was my 3rd time to experience this culinary festival. When I was still in 1st year I joined that Banana Delight contest and we placed 3rd, i think.I didn't join any event when I was in 2nd year, or maybe i did but Im just part of the planning team :) Last Thursday it was the culmination of the event. There are a lot of events for third year and i decided to join the Cake Decorating. We planned that the design of the cake is a vegetable garden since the theme is "Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-Araw itong ihain". The day before the event, my friends who are also part of the team bought the materials. On the day of the event, it was nerve wracking because its my first time but then I realized i shouldn't be because my team mates are one of the best :) (Im not bragging i just believe in their capacity hihi) We were only given 2 hours to decorate the cake(dummy cake) so we started to prepare the icing, the royal icing. After making it, we mixed the colors and Des started to decorate :) 

It was pure fun, we're just like playing. No time pressure even if there's time limit. We just did our best and enjoy the moment :) It was really fun when you're with the people who just keeps on laughing n cracking jokes :) And by the way, We won the 1st place ! YEAAAH Im so proud of the team !! Pat, Maz and Queenie are also part of the team ! :)))
